To work it has to be dark, different than we think of angels. The model was realized by a colleague, the preparation for animating comes from me - Character Control Rig with easy to use controls for animation. Even the wings can be controlled by only one control.

To make 3D-objects digitally explode into small pixels, I first rendered the objects, then created a plane with the rendering onto it and emitted particles in the same color. The color-information and the area where particles should appear the systems receives by the textures I rendered. Fields like turbulence and newton blow the particles from 2D-Plane into 3D-space so that the effect of a volume doesn’t get lost. Here is one of three examples:

I created this track to reduce my frustration and to at least build a track again, because work in the last days was really hard. This is more industrial and has many scratchy sounds in there but a good groove.
Enjoy the little preview!

The smallest things in there hide in the detail and our behaviour of not looking into detail. But when we take a closer look we can find several things. In the microcosm not everything works like in our cosmos, some objects are not affected by gravity for instance.
This animation was a project, which was produced by myself in the course 3D-Advanced at the University for applied sciences in Salzburg.

This song I have produced for the subject Psychology of media for the University of applied sciences Salzburg. The task was producing a creative work which deals with the content of a text the students had to read. Every student got a different text. The title of the text I had to deal with was: “Learning while sleeping” - and which genre fits best to sleeping or falling into sleep as AMBIENCE?
Have fun listening!
